The Department of Motivated Vehicles (DMV) is a personal and professional development company committed to inspiring millions to live their daily lives in alignment with their passions and purpose. We help individuals through the toughest transitions of their lives such as college-to-career, career-to-career, and career-to-college by creating transformational group experience that help people discover and align their lives with their purpose. We help organizations increase productivity, engagement, and retention of employees by clarifying the organization’s purpose and each employee’s purpose within that larger purpose. Since 2005 we have served over a thousand people through motivational presentations, innovative courses, life and executive coaching, and company retreats.

Driving School for Life is currently the DMV’s most well-known service. The premise of the course is that life is our vehicle to design, drive, and maintain and that the more aligned all of our parts are, the more successful you will be in whatever you decide to do. The course leverages the metaphor of the “journey of life” to convey theories about happiness, success, passions, and professions in an engaging memorable way.

Since 2009, we have issued 66 Licenses to Live, growing our powerful fleet of motivated vehicles designed to move the world forward. Courses have been hosted in New York and New Orleans and will begin on the west coast soon.
